Is it really late October?

It's been so warm lately that I've been thinking about trees and flowers and nature. Because if we keep melting the polar icecaps, we may not have much of the real thing left. Think Green!

A word about the work

I fabricate all work in my Boston studio, working primarily in polymer, a synthetic low fire clay that is remarkably versatile and colorful. My work incorporates a variety of mixed media surface techniques, including alcohol inks, acrylic paint, silk screening and image transfers. I complement the polymer with hand forged silver, copper and bronze that add dimension and textural contrast to my pieces.
