My jewelry tends to be chic and elegant, but I also have a line of down to earth, natural pieces. Yeah, I know that might be a contradiction in terms given that polymer is petroleum based, and like almost all artist materials, is not particularly eco-friendly. On the other hand, I don't drive and have never owned a car, I don't use plastic grocery bags or drink bottled water. I figure that I use a heck of of a lot less petroleum in a whole year of polymer work than the average person uses to fill their tank just one time!
I make my faux pebbles in a variety of natural colors, but tend to prefer the darker shades. The huge advantage of polymer pebbles over the real thing is that they don't weigh anything at all!
